The Overcome Project.
Some of you know what it is and some of you don’t. The Overcome Project is a non-profit organization created by Ben and Stefanie to help at-risk youth use fitness to create meaningful and helpful relationships and move towards being productive members of society. In addition, the Overcome Project has provided two nights of fitness per week to four group homes and more than 40 kids have come to Iron Mile over the past few months to partake in these classes.
A network of gyms is in the works to expand the work from just one location. Prayers and resources are needed. If you have more questions or would like to give a tax deductible donation; please contact Coach Ben at 530-908-7678
Warm Up
Row, bike or ski for 7 min (:15 sprint/:45 chill x 7)
Strength
150 hollow rocks in as few sets as possible or 10 min
Whichever comes first.
Workout
Run 4 laps+12 Ring Dips or 24 narrow grip push-ups
Rest 1 min
Run 3 laps+12 Ring Dips or 24 narrow grip push-ups
Rest 1 min
Run 2 laps+12 Ring Dips or 24 narrow grip push-ups
Rest 1 min
Run 1 lap+12 Ring Dips or 24 narrow grip push-ups
Ring dips would be great but sub this for whatever type of bodyweight pressing you need.
