Growing up I was always described as “the fat kid”. Understandable due to the fact I weighed 250 lbs in high school, had a size 42 waist, and wore xxxl t-shirts. However, at the age of 18, I was introduced to proper nutrition and fitness and lost roughly 60 lbs over the course of 2 years. At 20, I was introduced to crossfit and have never looked back. In 2014, I placed 148th out of over 4,000+ individuals in northern California for the Crossfit games open. I am currently training to qualify for the Northern California Crossfit Games Regionals in 2015 and eventually The Crossfit Games!
